<p>However the jury convicted Garda Paul Fogarty (27), who is based at Dundrum Garda Station, of insurance fraud.</p>
<p>Fogarty had pleaded not guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to harassing Christopher Kelly and his father, Patrick, on dates between November 1, 2008 and May 31, 2009.</p>
<p>He had also pleaded not guilty to dishonestly by deception inducing Quinn Direct to pay out an insurance claim of €10,254 at Littlepace, Clonee, Co Meath.</p>
<p>The jury returned its verdict on day five of the trial after just over three hours&#8217; deliberation. Judge Sarah Berkeley remanded Fogarty on continuing bail until next July for sentencing.</p>
<p>Fogarty cried when the not guilty verdicts were returned 30 minutes before the jury came back with the guilty verdict.</p>
<p>The court heard that Fogarty had bought a Toyota Celica for €19,000 in May 2007 and taxed it for third party fire and theft with Quinn Direct. He crashed the car in a single vehicle collision in January 2008 on the M50.</p>
<p>He later brought it to Mr Kelly&#8217;s garage in Trim, County Meath to carry out repairs on the car and paid €5,000 in advance for the work.</p>

(&#8220;Cavan&#8221; or the &#8220;Company&#8221;)  announces it has completed a first phase ground program on its 100% owned Cawood, Sainte-Marie, Big Flake and Buckingham graphite properties, located in southwest part of Quebec.</p>
<p class="NORMAL">On May 13, 2013, the Company announced that a prospecting and exploration work program was started on four of the five prospective graphite projects, located in the Buckingham area and Gatineau Valley area, Quebec. At the end of May 2013, the field work was completed and the assay results are now received and compiled.</p>
<p class="NORMAL">Buckingham Property:</p>
<p class="NORMAL">Several days were spent on the Buckingham property which consists of three colonial lots located in Range IX, Buckingham Township and covering an area of 900 hectares (2,224acres). The property is adjacent to the old Walker Mine which is located in the south half of lot 20.</p>
<p class="NORMAL">In Range VIII historic reports mention that the graphite deposit was worked between the 1860&#8242;s to 1910. Disseminated graphite flakes, up to 25% were mined. At the time Buckingham was part of the Walker mine. In the 1980&#8242;s an airborne electromagnetic survey was conducted by the Quebec Government. Two linear conductors were picked up on the Buckingham Property.</p>
<p class="NORMAL">Those conductors are at 200 m spacing and measure 200 m and 1,000 m in length respectively. <p><img src="http://media.tcm.ie/media/images/c/CorkUniversityHospitalInternal2_large.jpg" width="520" class=" addthis_shareable" />A man has been killed after his car hit a ditch in Co Cork in the early hours of this morning.
<p>The collision occurred between 00.30am and 3.20am this morning at Kennelworth, Youghal, when the car left the road and hit a ditch. </p>
<p>The 27-year-old driver was killed and has been removed to Cork University Hospital.</p>
<p>Gardaí are investigating and the road is closed for a forensic collision examination with diversions in place.</p>
<p>Any witnesses or anyone who was in the area of Kennelworth between midnight and 3.00am are asked to contact Youghal Garda Station on 024 &#8211; 92200, Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.</p>
